Tip: type in any cell. Cells with the same subject get the same colour automatically. Use ↑ ↓ on a row to reorder.

How to use the time table maker

  1. Give your timetable a title and choose which days to show.
  2. Set each period's start and end time; use + Add period or + Add break for more rows.
  3. Type a subject into each cell. Matching subjects get the same colour automatically.
  4. Press Print / Save PDF, or Export CSV to open it in a spreadsheet.

A timetable you’ll actually use

A clear weekly timetable cuts daily decision-making and makes it obvious when each subject gets attention. This maker gives you an editable grid with real times, breaks and automatic colour coding, and prints cleanly on a single page.

Features

  • Editable times for every period, plus labelled break rows
  • Any combination of days, Monday to Sunday
  • Automatic colour coding: every cell with the same subject shares a colour, with a legend
  • Reorder or delete rows without losing data
  • Auto-save in your browser
  • Print / PDF and CSV export

Building a study timetable that works

  1. Start with fixed commitments: classes, work, travel, meals and sleep.
  2. Schedule your hardest subject at your best time. For most people that’s the morning.
  3. Use 45–50 minute blocks with short breaks. Attention drops sharply after about an hour.
  4. Interleave subjects rather than doing one all day. Switching helps long-term retention.
  5. Leave one buffer slot per day for overruns and revision.
  6. Review weekly. Adjust the timetable based on what actually happened.

Example school day

10:15 – 10:35 Break
10:35 – 11:20 Chemistry
11:20 – 12:05 Biology
12:05 – 12:50 Computer

Frequently asked questions

Is my timetable saved?

Yes. It is saved automatically in your browser's local storage on this device, so it is still there when you come back. It is not uploaded anywhere — use Export CSV or Save PDF to keep a copy elsewhere.

How do I save my timetable as a PDF?

Press Print / Save PDF and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer in your browser's print dialog. Landscape orientation usually fits best.

Can I include Saturday and Sunday?

Yes. Toggle any day on or off using the day buttons above the table.

How do I reorder periods?

Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons under each time slot. The subjects in that row move with it.
